Founded and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta in 2019, Canadian Imperial Advantage (CIA) is a not-for-profit that is committed to empowering the Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities in Alberta with business support services and access to capital through capacity building workshops and networking events.

CIA is also one of the six organisations approved by the Government of Canada to advance the black business ecosystem in Western Canada; and has since facilitated value-accretive capital and advisory support to over 250 entrepreneurs.
