Olukemi Olugbade is a visionary leader with global experience across Africa, Europe, and North America. A trained accountant, Mrs. Olugbade built a decade-long career in venture capital before co-founding iBusiness Series-T-Oak Soteria, a nonprofit that has empowered hundreds of youth in underserved communities in Nigeria.
Following her family’s relocation to Europe, Mrs. Olugbade continued to manage the nonprofit remotely while taking the opportunity to expand her global expertise by earning an MBA from the University of Amsterdam and securing key roles at Shell and KPMG. After moving to Canada, Mrs. Olugbade shifted her focus back to community empowerment, earning her second master’s degree in Community Engagement from the University of Alberta.
This return to her mission of serving youth and underserved communities led her to Canadian Imperial Advantage (CIA), where she now channels her expertise as the program administrator for the Youth Entrepreneurship Mentorship Program (YEMP). In this role, she combines her business acumen with her deep commitment to empowering the next generation of youth leaders, with the goal of supporting 1,000 youth through entrepreneurship and positive social change.
