The second edition of CIA’s annual Youth Entrepreneurship Mentorship Program (YEMP) kicked off with a launch on June 27th, 2022.
YEMP is a 12-weeklong empowerment program for youths and budding entrepreneurs between the ages of 15 – 35 years old who are interested in starting a business or learning the basics of entrepreneurship.
The program is divided into 2 phases in-person/online workshops and mentorship.
The 2022 “YEMP” cohort will have their 1st class on Thursday, June 30th at 10 am. The In-person and online facilitation continues until August 5th, 2022, while business mentoring continues afterwards.
At completion, participants would have gained the basic knowledge and skills to become successful entrepreneurs. They will be paired with mentors in their field for guidance, to move forward in their business or career, develop valuable networks and form business alliances in the community.
