Description

This course will examine the federal Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, other insolvency legislation such as the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and a brief examination of the law relating to receiverships. Participants will be given an opportunity to acquire an understanding of the policy objectives and legal structure underlying modern bankruptcy and insolvency law.
